MANUFACTMANUFACT represents a return to the essence of why Sean started working with glass; his desire to create functional objects. With a deep reverence for the handmade he believes peoples’ experience of everyday life can be enriched by connecting with handmade things. Drawing on years of glass working experience Sean blows highly refined glass objects one day and the next may use those same skills to transform a ubiquitous symbol of waste: discarded bottles, into one of a kind tableware. By offering both handblown and upcycled glassware, MANUFACT makes it possible to offer quality handmade products to a wide range of people expanding his reach and hopefully making handmade glass more accessible.
